Scaffolding Team Summit Scaffolding Northland are a specialised skilled team who are highly trained to follow the Summit mandate of consistent excellent in workmanship. That work ethic is followed by all the members of the Summit team from the installation crew on site to the management team as follows.
Company Director: John Scott
John, originally from Portsmouth UK, completed his advanced scaffolder training in 1987 at the time working as a chargehand on all aspects associated with scaffolding – including commercial, residential and marine.
John holds a National Certificate in Advanced Scaffolding as well as a Site Safe Gold Card.
Just a few of the projects John has worked on include Auckland Hospital, Sky City Convention Centre, University of Auckland Business School, Stamford Plaza, and Eden Park.
Director: Bruce Pickerill
Bruce began his scaffolding career in Sydney, Australia in 1986 working predominantly on high-rise construction.
He holds a Scaffolding Class 1 Certificate of Competency NSW as well as holding a National Certificate in Advanced Scaffolding along with a Site Safe Gold Card.
Bruce has been a key team member of various large scale residential, commercial and petrochemical projects including Marsden Point Oil Refinery, Portland Cement, Fonterra House, Princes Street and Mt Eden Prisons as well as numerous work on industry film sets such as Xena and Hercules.
